The IDGs – The Inner Development Guide
Inner growth for outer change.
The challenges of our time remind us that outer change cannot succeed without inner development and without our lived humanity.
The Inner Development Goals emerged from a global question: what inner skills and qualities do we truly need to shape the change our world requires? Born out of a worldwide co-creation process and rooted in interdisciplinary research, they bring together 25 science-based skills across five interconnected dimensions:
BEING · THINKING · RELATING · COLLABORATING · ACTING
Founded in Sweden in 2020 and now part of a global academic network – with partners including Lund University (LUCSUS) and the Flourishing Network at the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University the IDGs have grown into a movement connecting changemakers, researchers and practitioners worldwide.
As an Ambassador of the international IDG initiative, I accompany people and organisations on the path of inner development – scientifically grounded, experience-oriented and trauma-informed.
I work with the IDGs across a range of educational and developmental formats, shaping the content to be accessible, alive and grounded in lived experience. This gives rise to group and team spaces that make possible authentic encounter, genuine reflection and lasting development.
A central element of this work is the IDG Practice Card Set, developed in earlier co-creation. It makes the five dimensions and skills of the IDGs tangible and experiential, bringing together psychotherapeutic, somatic and systemic-creative approaches. The 80 exercises and deepening audio tracks work equally well in individual self-reflection and in team and organisational development and they are something I hold close to my heart.
For me, the card set is the starting point for an expanded space of learning and experience – translating inner development directly into practice. Depending on what is needed, I complement my work with workshops and further formats that deepen inner development and translate it into concrete capacity for action.
Further information about my work and the card set can be found under KNOWLEDGE and in the SHOP.
I look forward to hearing from you.
